last night i sat outside with derek, luke & dustin and, despite the horde of bloodsucking insects who plagued my feet (that's right, my FEET!), it was wicked fun. derek took music he'd written forever ago & luke put one verse to it, then they called me out to write the rest. then they made fun of me because i'm not really adept at writing stuff that has a particular rhythm & rhyme. i ended up just encouaging them as they wrote the rest of it, but i DID contribute one line. it's a pretty awesome song, too. then i came inside to get away from the bugs, and i guess the guys got the same idea. they called me in the kitchen and had me write the second verse to this emo song they'd come up with. i used every cliche i could come up with, and i'm pretty proud of the result.

i got to hang out with davie nash & his man-in-tow (to whom i was never formally introduced, but whose name i heard was phil), during which time i got my butt handed to me by whitney in the form of soul calibur II. so i quit playing and read allure with davie and made fun of him for liking the smell so much. TAMPAX HAS SCENTED TAMPONS, AND THEY'LL TRICK YOU INTO SMELLING THEM WITH AN AD THAT LOOKS LIKE ONE FOR PERFUME. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. wes rubbed it on his face--AFTER learning that it was a tampon ad.

it would be awesome if jamestown would call me back.
